Holly Area Schools will receive sealed Request for Quotation (RFQ) Packets until 11 AM Local Time, December 7, 2020 for:

Removal and Disposal of Petroleum Impacted Soil at Former Holly Area Schools Bus Garage

A MANDATORY General Pre-Bid Conference will be held virtually with a video site tour to review and answer questions relating to the project:

Time:  11 AM Local Time on November 2, 2020

At:   The Pre-Bid Conference will be held virtually via web conferencing through Zoom Meeting.  The virtual meeting will be administered by Holly Area Schools. Interested parties may use the web address and information provided below for participating in the Pre-Bid Conference:

Access to the site will be allowed by APPOINTMENT ONLY, with a minimum advance notice of at least two business days during the following dates November 9-13th and 16-20th, 2020 during the hours of  9am to 3 pm.  All bidders interested in accessing the site for review must contact Nicholas Marcelletti, Arch Environmental Group, Inc. prior to make an appointment to attend the site review.  Due to restrictions in place as part of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Emergency Order Under MCL 333.3353-gathering Prohibition and Mask Order, each bidder will be allowed two (2) person to attend the site review, access will be limited to a total of ten persons at one time including HAS Representatives, and strict physical distancing measures will be enforced (Because of site and time limitations).  If greater than nine (9) bidders request an appointment, on the same dates and times, the bidder that schedules first will be given the preferred dates and times. The remaining bidders will need to reschedule for the remaining dates and times.

Schedule:  The format of the Virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be an initial presentation on the bidding process and the scope of work. Attendance at all portions of the virtual Pre-Bid Conference is mandatory for all bidders.

Note:  Arch Environmental Group, Inc. will issue a letter of recommendation and/or formal letter of intent to the low qualified Bidder no later than 5 PM, December 11, 2020, to allow the recommended contractor the opportunity to prepare for the project, submit the project notification and accurately consider other bids.
