Holly Area Schools, Holly, Michigan, will receive sealed proposals, for multiple furniture and equipment categories, from qualified dealerships to perform all work necessary and incidental for the Elementary School Furnishings, located at the buildings and addresses below, project(s) in accordance with published instructions, specifications, drawings and other contract documents.

The bidding documents consist of plans and specifications as prepared by GMB Architecture + Engineering, 85 East Eighth Street, Suite 200, Holland, MI 49423. H. Electronic Bidding Documents may be viewed after day of issuance at GMB, Project Site, under “Bid Sets”. Bidders may download drawings and specifications from the GMB Plan Command site. Please note that vendors are responsible to review information on all drawings and specifications and are responsible for providing their own printed sets (if desired). An opaque envelope bearing your proposal must identify your company, the project being bid “Holly Area Schools Holly Elementary School Furnishings” and “Sealed Bid, Do Not Open”. The proposal shall be addressed to the attention of Mr. Steve Lenar, Assistant Superintendent – Administrative Services, Holly Area Schools, 920 Baird Street, Holly, MI 48442.

Bids must be delivered no later than 12:00 noon, Thursday February 8, 2024 to Holly Area School District at the address noted above. Each proposal must be submitted on the bid form provided in the project manual. Familial Disclosure Statement and the Affidavit of Compliance to the Iran Economic Sanctions Act must both be completed and notarized. All bidders are required to furnish Bid Security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid. Form of the security may be a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or money order made payable to Owner. Personal and company checks will not be accepted. All proposals shall be firm for a period of sixty (60) days.

Bids will be publicly opened and read at a meeting convened at the Holly Area Schools Administration Building located at 920 Baird Street, Holly, MI 48442 starting at 12:00 PM on February 8th, 2024.

Successful bidders whose proposals are $50,000 or more will be required to furnish a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of their bid. Do not include the cost of the Bonds in the Base Bid. It is a requirement for acceptance of bid that bidders show they are bondable.

The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids in whole or in part and to waive any informalities therein. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept that bid which in its opinion, is in the best interest of the Owner.
