HAS Mask Reminder

Dear Holly Area Schools Families and Staff,
I would like to take this opportunity to remind our students, staff, and families that the Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) will be lifting the mask mandate for schools and daycares on Feb. 28. As a result, beginning Monday, February 28th, Holly Area Schools will support our Broncho families and staff to make the personal choice of wearing a mask at our school buildings.
This reminder follows an announcement to our families on February 11th that provided all the information regarding the OCHD’s decision to lift the mandate.
The Federal mask mandate for public transportation that requires passengers on public school buses to wear a mask is set to expire on March 18, 2022. We are following this closely and will update our families with any new information as it becomes available.
We very much appreciate your continued support, understanding and patience throughout this school year. The health, safety and security of our students, staff and families is our number one priority.
We remain committed to keeping our families apprised of important updates in our efforts to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment for all Bronchos.
