What's Happening in Holly Area Schools
Congratulations to Mrs. Becky Godin, Early Intervention Special Education teacher, who has been chosen to be a member of the Michigan Teacher Leadership Advisory Council (MTLAC). Mrs. Godin was selected from a pool of over 300 extraordinary applicants to serve with 23 other teacher leaders from every region in the state. She will have the opportunity to engage directly with state policy makers on issues related to the implementation of Michigan's Every Student Succeeds Act.
Summer Online Credit Recovery is only available to students enrolled in Holly High School. There is a $50 fee to access the online program. Students may only retake courses which they previously failed. The deadline to register is June 28th. Students are required to attend Orientation on June 28th from 3:30-4:00pm at Holly High School. In order to receive credit, students are required to complete 100% of the course with a minimum final grade of 70%.
August 13th at Coyote Preserve. Thank you all for supporting our Blessings in a Backpack program for Holly children in need. This program's success is dependent on our annual golf outing which contributed $19,000 to our program last year. Your support is needed again this year.
The Holly Area Schools announces the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program, Meet Up and Eat Up, for children. Free meals will be made available to children 18 years of age and under or persons up to age 26 who are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled that is recognized by a state or local public educational agency.
Middle schoolers are invited to participate in hands-on project-based learning with Oakland Schools' STEM summer camps. Space is limited so Register Today!!
