HAS Spring Art Show

At Holly Area Schools, the fine arts play a central role in a well-rounded education that helps prepare our Bronchos for success and careers. We’re excited to invite you to the 2024 Holly Area Schools Spring Art Show taking place 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, at Holly High School, 6161 E. Holly Road. The exhibit will celebrate the amazing creativity of our student artists, and you can get a sneak peek of their artwork during a preview on Tuesday, April 30, or Wednesday, May 1, at the high school between 5-7 pm.

This free event is open to the entire community and will feature nearly 500 art pieces ranging in various media from drawings, paintings, and sculptures, to pottery and mixed media works. Students from as young as 5 years old to our high school seniors will have their artwork on display. A panel of professional local artists will serve as judges and select the best works in several categories. HAS administrators will also be celebrity jurors who will give out “Celebrity Judge Choice” awards and art teachers will hand out special award ribbons. The awards will be given out at 7 p.m. on the evening of the show. 

For our students, this event is an opportunity to celebrate their artistic talents and creative visions with you and our entire community. The visual arts help engage our students’ minds, encouraging them to find beauty in and think critically about the world around them. That’s why at HAS, art is an essential component of learning that helps students get a truly well-rounded, world-class education.
