Dear Students, Parents, and Staff of Holly Area Schools,
I am excited to welcome you back for the 2022-2023 school year! I hope you had a wonderful summer break and were able to enjoy some time with friends and family.
As Superintendent of Holly Area Schools, I am proud to be part of a Broncho community dedicated to providing all students with a top-notch education that prepares them for success and the jobs of the future.
We are gearing up for another successful school year for our students and families. Districtwide, we are achieving safety, building, and technology upgrades and improvements, thanks to the continued generosity of our supportive community. Design planning is already underway for the new Holly Middle School scheduled to open in the Fall of 2025, and for the new Construction Trades Center scheduled to open in the Winter of 2024. We will continue providing updates to our community on more exciting projects throughout this school year and beyond.
The new school year will also welcome new staff to our Broncho family and hallways. We hope all our families will have the opportunity to meet these outstanding educators in the weeks ahead.
We are proud to partner with our families to help ensure the success of all Bronchos. We truly appreciate the help of our entire community to provide a positive, nurturing learning environment that helps all Bronchos achieve and succeed. With the help of our community, we continue to provide a culture of kindness, compassion and respect in our schools.
I would like to take a moment to thank all of the Broncho staff working this summer to prepare our buildings for the arrival of our teachers and students. Everyone from maintenance, custodial, technology, office staff and building administration have been laser-focused and committed to preparing for the start of the new school year.
There has truly never been a better time to be a Broncho, and I can’t wait to see the smiling faces of our Bronchos in our hallways on Aug. 29.
Thank you for making Holly Area Schools a great place to learn and achieve!
#BronchoPride and #BronchosUnited!
Scott M. Roper, Superintendent
