A Message to Our Holly Area Schools Community

November 4, 2026

Dear Families and Residents of Holly Area Schools,

Thank you to everyone who participated in the November 3 election and took the time to learn about the Holly Area Schools Safety, Security and School Improvement Bond Proposal.

While the bond proposal was not approved by voters, our commitment to providing safe, secure, and supportive learning environments for every student, from early childhood through college and career readiness, remains unchanged.

We appreciate the time, feedback, and thoughtful questions our community shared throughout the planning process. This input will continue to be valuable as we evaluate our district’s facility needs, prioritize future improvements, and consider available options.

In the coming weeks, the Board of Education and district leadership will review the election results, reflect on community feedback, and determine next steps in our long-term facility planning.

We remain committed to transparency, fiscal responsibility, and responsible stewardship of our school facilities as we continue planning for the future of Holly Area Schools.

Stay tuned for updates as we continue to work together to support the future of our students, schools, and community.

Sincerely,

Scott M. Roper, Superintendent
Holly Area Schools
