HAS Administration Announcement
Dear Holly Area Schools Families,
At Holly Area Schools, we are committed to providing a world-class learning environment that helps our Bronchos learn, grow and thrive. We would like to share the following news with you regarding changes to our administration team to officially take place on Monday, December 4th.
Mr. Eric Curl has accepted the position of Holly High School Principal, filling this important vacancy on our leadership team. Mr. Curl has proudly served Holly Middle School for the past 10 years as principal and assistant principal. While serving as middle school administrator, Mr. Curl has also led and participated in several district planning committees. Prior to serving as a leader at HMS, Mr. Curl spent 13 years at Holly High School as a social studies teacher and athletic coach.
Mrs. Monica Turner has been named the new Holly Middle School Principal and is looking forward to this new leadership opportunity. Mrs. Turner has worked at Holly Area Schools for the past 19 years as both a general education and special education teacher including 3 years as a staff member at Holly Middle School. She has most recently served as the proud principal of Holly Elementary for the past 5 years.
Ms. Aimee Schwartz will be replacing Mrs. Turner as the new Holly Elementary Principal. Ms. Schwartz has been a dedicated Holly Area Schools staff member serving in many roles including Math Specialist, Data Advisor, Student Assistance Team Leader, Summer School Supervisor, and most recently the Early Childhood Principal. Ms. Schwartz is very familiar with Holly Elementary and is excited to expand her leadership in this new role. District leaders will be reviewing candidates in the weeks ahead to fill the Early Childhood Principal vacancy.
All three of these experienced and knowledgeable leaders at Holly Area Schools possess strong communication and organizational skills; demonstrate a very strong work ethic; and are extremely dedicated to the achievement and success of our students and staff.
There is much to be excited about at Holly Area Schools and these shifts in leadership further strengthen our team. We look forward to continued progress and many great accomplishments ahead.
