Our Special Education Parent Advisory Committee “PAC” is hosting an evening event related to Transition for Special Education students at every level. At this resource event, there will be staff and agencies available to discuss transition information for:
• Early Childhood to Preschool
• Preschool to Kindergarten
• Elementary to Middle School
• Middle School to High School
• High School to Post-Secondary

We are excited to share an opportunity at Milford Independent Cinema to offer a special showing of a Sensory Friendly movie experience, Disney's WISH on December 2nd at 1:00 p.m.  

Tickets are only $2.00; you can print the ticket or have it ready on the phone for entry.

This event is for families that may have children with special needs to experience the movie in a relaxed, safe and accepting environment.  Our sensory friendly setting will have:

• Limited Seating
• Dimmed Lighting
• Sound turned down
• Give children freedom to move around

There is limited seating to accommodate for some moving around so it is sure to sell out quickly!

Sensory Friendly Movie - Disney's WISH

Registration for bowling is now open!

• This program is open to special needs individuals ages 4 years and up.
• We will once again be bowling at Century Bowl in Waterford. 
• Bowling will be on SATURDAY'S from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm beginning January 6, 2024 and ending on February 17, 2024 (7 consecutive Saturdays). 
• Registration fee includes:  1 hour of bowling each week, shirt, shoe rental, prizes, medal, friendship and fun!
• We have an option to split your registration fee into 3-installments.

Bowling fills up quickly, so register early to reserve your spot!

You may have noticed exciting changes happening at the Karl Richter Campus as construction/site work is underway in preparation for the future home of the new Holly Middle School. 

One of the biggest changes that visitors will soon notice is the demo of over half of the north parking lot in front of the district offices.  This is one of the phases of the ongoing site work.

Parents and visitors to the district offices will continue to use the parking spots in front of the administration offices.  If there is a need for additional overflow parking, spaces will also be available to the west of the building at the new tennis courts.
