Supply Lists

We know many of you shop for supplies before school starts.  Below are lists of suggested supplies for Young Fives through 5th Grade.  Many of these items go on sale at the end of July or beginning of August. 

 

YOUNG 5’S

We share supplies

1 pair of over the ear headphones (No earbuds please)

4 pack of dry erase markers

1 box of Band-Aids

8 glue sticks

2 packs washable markers

4 containers Clorox wipes

2 boxes Kleenex or tissues

2 boxes of 24 Crayola crayons

Zip lock bags- 1 sandwich box 

& 1 gallon box 

2 boxes crackers & 2 bags pretzel 

1 bottle of No Clog Elmer’s Glue

1 water bottle

KINDERGARTEN 

We share all supplies. Please do not write your child’s name on them.

8 pack of dry erase markers

1-3  8 packs of washable markers

8 glue sticks

1 container Clorox wipes

1 box of Band-Aids

1-3 boxes of Kleenex

2 boxes of 24 Crayola Crayons

3 boxes of crackers, or 3 bags pretzels, or 3 goldfish

1 headphone for your child- these will not be shared (please NO earbuds) (please label this one)

FIRST GRADE

Classroom Use; 

2 boxes of 24 crayons (1 to start the year, 1 to finish the year) 

12 glue sticks

2 packs of No. 2 pencils (sharpened)

1 pack of eraser caps 

2 packs Post-it notes (1 large, 1 small size) 

2 packs of Expo Markers

5 3-prong folders: 1-red, 1-blue, 1-yellow, 1-purple, and 1-any color

earbuds in a labeled Ziploc bag (NO headphones)

FIFTH GRADE

1 white 1” Binder w/clear sleeve on the front (replacement may be needed in January) 

divider tabs for binder (5 tabs only please) 

1 markers (box of 8 or more)

1 Colored pencils (box of 12)

3 boxes of No.2 pencils pre-sharpened

15 Glue sticks

1 highlighters (colored variety pack)

1 pair of scissors (by fifth grade adult size ones are fine)

2 different colored spiral notebooks, each with 70-100 sheets (blue, yellow)

1 composition notebook for Writer’s Workshop

1 box of Expo Dry Erase Markers

2 boxes of Kleenex or tissues

Post-It notes 2-3 packs (3x3)

All Students

Students will be spending time in the CI Basic Program and in the general education setting as well. With this in mind, there may be items that will need to be added to this list to meet your child’s needs in the general education setting but it should be minimum.

If your child has bathroom needs:

  • 2 extra pairs of clothes (pants, shirt, socks, underwear)
  • diapers/pull ups
  • wipes

This year a healthy snack is required to be sent in daily for your student. If you would like to send in a large container of a healthy snack item to keep in the classroom for your student’s daily snack, please send it in with their name on it. Extra snack donations are always appreciated. 

Please write your student’s name on his/her backpack, lunch pail, and extra clothing.

If your children receive free or reduced school lunches, Holly Area Youth Assistance may be able to help you with school supplies as well as any ‘pay to play’ or extracurricular activity fees.
