The following scholarship is for Sophomores and Juniors and is due by March 1, 2023
The Dr. Deborah Young MSUCOM OsteoCHAMPS Scholarship for Holly High School
- This one time scholarship is worth up to $500 and goes towards funding the tuition for the OsteoCHAMPS program
- Eligibility:
1. Must be accepted into the OsteoCHAMPS program through MSUCOM.
2. Complete the Application for the OsteoCHAMPS program
*HHS Counselors are available to assist students with the application process. - Requirements for admission to the MSUCOM OsteoCHAMPS Program include:
1. Be a high school sophomore or junior (at the time of application)
2. Have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (unofficial transcript submission)
3. Demonstrate interest in the healthcare field by completing the application essays
4. Have a letter of recommendation
5. Complete the application
The following scholarships are due by March 24, 2023
Amel Schwartz Post 149 American Legion Scholarship Award
- This scholarship is open to ANY Senior who is the son, daughter, or grandchild of a veteran, planning to attend any recognized college or university. Applicants who are related to a current member of Amel Schwartz Post #149, will be given first priority. The scholarship is for $1,000 and is good for one year only.
- Eligibility/Criteria:
- High school senior at Holly High School,
- Resident of the State of Michigan at time of application,
- Must be accepted to a college or university and have proof of acceptance.
Benjamin Strong Scholarship
- This scholarship is a one time $500 scholarship. Please include a copy of your transcript and 2 letters of recommendation.
- Eligibility/Criteria:
- A graduating senior who has been admitted to a post secondary program
- Have overcome a major life obstacle with strength, humor and faith
- Special consideration will be given to students choosing careers in music, aviation or medicine.
George Auch Scholarship
- $500 scholarship
- Eligibility/Criteria:
- Financial need
- Community or school involvement
- Minimum 3.5 GPA
Holly High School "Coca Cola Scholarship"
- (4) $250 scholarships
- Eligibility/Criteria:
- Academic Achievement
- Good conduct in school and community
- Consistent effort to be cooperative and respectful to students and staff
Szott Automotive Scholarship
- $500 scholarship
- Eligibility/Criteria:
- School/community involvement
- GPA 3.0 or above

Pursuing a career in Automotive Retail or Automotive Service preferred but not required
Chartwells Scholarship
- (4) $250 scholarships
- Eligibility/Criteria:
- Academic Achievement
- Good conduct in school and community
- Consistent effort to be cooperative and respectful to students and staff
Holly Area Youth Assistance Scholarship
- The Holly Area Youth Assistance Scholarship is a $500 non-renewable scholarship. It is awarded to two graduating Holly High School seniors. The purpose of the scholarship is to allow the deserving students to attend a college, university or trade school of their choice.
- Eligibility/Criteria:
- Completed application form
- An essay (No more than one page)
- Submit a copy of the front page of a 2021 or 2022 Federal Income Tax Return
Davisburg Elementary Scholarship Application
- Davisburg Elementary School is pleased to announce the awarding of a $500.00 non-renewable scholarship to a student graduating from Holly High School in June 2022 who has been accepted at an accredited college or university.

- Former Davisburg Elementary student
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- College readiness and career goals
- Community service/contributions
- Extra-curricular activities
- Letters of recommendation
- A one-page essay that details your contributions to the Holly area community and your future academic and personal goals
Edward Thomas Trade School Scholarship
- $500 (Renewable for a second year for $500 if the student is still working toward certification)
- Eligibility/Criteria: Student must be accepted to an accredited institution that will teach a skilled trades
HEA Scholarship
- $500 scholarship, non-renewable
- Eligibility/Criteria:
- 3.0 GPA or better
- Holly High School student 9-12
- Planning to major in education

Holly Chamber of Commerce Scholarship for Business Students
- The Holly Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to sponsor the Holly Business
Student Scholarship. Two seniors from Holly High School will be selected to receive
the HBSS scholarship. The recipients will each receive a $500.00
academic scholarship funded by the Local Holly Area Chamber of Commerce.
Applicants should personify integrity, responsibility, empathy, and achievement --
attributes of being an outstanding future leader of a global, free-enterprise society.
Additionally, nominees must have completed business courses, maintain a minimum
2.5 weighted cumulative GPA with a 3.0 GPA in business-related courses and exhibit
exemplary leadership both in and outside of school.
Holly Education Support Personnel Scholarship
- The Holly Education Support Personnel are sponsoring a scholarship for graduating Holly High School senior. The amount to be awarded is $200.00 to use for tuition or books. The scholarship is meant to encourage students within the stated grade point average. The decision will be made by a committee of three ESP members. In case of a tie, ESP membership within the applicant's family may be the determining factor. The winner will be notified at the beginning of May and announced at the Spring Awards Assembly.
- Eligibility/Criteria:
- 4 year Holly High School student
- Copy of transcripts with a *grade point average of:
- 2.8 to 3.3 college bound
- 2.5 to 3.0 vocational
- 2 Letters of recommendation (one from a Holly High School teacher)
- Proof of acceptance to college or vocational program
- Minimum of 12 credit hours
The Holly Elementary Scholarship in memory of Kent Barnes

Holly Elementary School is pleased to announce the awarding of a $500.00 scholarship to a student graduating from Holly High School in June 2022 who has been accepted to an accredited college, university, or trade school. Mr. Barnes was an extraordinary person who has made an impact on many staff and students of Holly Elementary School. He volunteered in the classrooms on a weekly basis for many years. Throughout the year he made several donations to Holly Elementary for the book fairs and the holiday shop for students to be able to purchase items. He also participated in many of our school musical/holiday events along with being a mystery reader during the month of March. We would like to present a former Holly Elementary student who presents some of the same qualities a scholarship.

Holly High School Band Booster Scholarship
- The Holly Band Booster organization is pleased to announce the awarding of a $500.00 non-renewable scholarship to a band student graduating from Holly High School in June who is planning to pursue a degree in an instrumental music-related field and has been accepted to an accredited college or university.
- Eligibility/Criteria:
1. Fourth year student and active member of the HHS band program.
2. Major or minor in an instrumental music field of study.
3. Outside musical activities and achievements.
4. A 500-word essay
5. Two letters of recommendation
Holly Kiwanis Club – Scholarship Application
- Eligibility/Criteria:
- To remain eligible for the scholarship, recipients must maintain class status in conjunction with their years in school. For example, a student must be considered a sophomore in his or her second year, a junior in the third year, etc. Students must take enough credits to be considered full time.
Patterson Elementary Scholarship
- Patterson Elementary School is pleased to announce that awarding of a $500.00 non-renewable scholarship to a student graduating from Holly High School in June and who has been accepted to an accredited college, university, or trade school.

- Minimum 2.5 GPA

Rose Pioneer Scholarship Award

Rose Pioneer Elementary School is pleased to announce the awarding of a $500.00 non-renewable scholarship to a student graduating from Holly High School who has been accepted at an accredited college or university.
The Holly Community Coalition
- The vision of the Holly Area Community Coalition “Is a community of youth who have been empowered to make positive life choices.” In following with this vision the Holly Area Community Coalition is offering a $500 non-renewable scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Holly High School senior who has chosen to be drug/alcohol free during their high school years. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist the student with expenses associated with attending a college, university or trade school of their choice.

The State Bank Scholarship
- $500 award (non-renewable)
- Eligibility/Criteria:
- Any Holly High School senior who has been accepted into a college, university, junior college or business school
- College major must be in business, finance, accounting, management or related field
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Community involvement
- School leadership/involvement
Van Gilder Family Foundation Scholarship
- Two $2,500.00 scholarships per school, paid in two installments, (half before the semester and the remaining half upon completion of the semester). All checks will be made payable to each individual school after meeting the requirements listed below.
- Eligibility/Criteria:
- All seniors graduating in 2022 with a minimum grade point of 2.5.
- All students applying must attend a four year college, in or out of state, and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester.
- In addition, each student applying must be considered a good citizen by the selecting committee for each school.
- All applicants must submit a 500 word essay stating their ambitions and how they plan to achieve them. In addition, please state why you are deserving of the scholarship.
Village of Holly Wellhead Protection Program
- One first place scholarship ($500) awarded.
- Eligibility/Criteria:
- Submit an essay that addresses the question “What could each person do to save or protect the public water supply system?” The essay is to be a minimum of 300 words and a maximum of 500, typed, double-spaced, and one-inch margins. Include in your essay why you think your idea would be effective, how you would get others to participate and how you would go about promoting your suggestion.

EVERFI Scholarship ($1000): EVERFI's spring scholarship is open! All K-12 students who complete any EVERFI course in full are eligible to apply. Deadline: May 5, 2023.

Fifth Third Bank Scholarship ($2500): Fifth Third Bank's scholarship is open for second semester as well! Open to 9th-12th graders who complete a lesson of Finance Academy. Deadline: May 14, 2023.

SET SEG Foundation’s Skilled Trade Scholarship: Who is Eligible: Michigan public high school seniors who are enrolled or plan to enroll in an accredited two-year college, technical school or other accredited technical institute within the next 12 months. Scholarship Amount: Students will receive a $500 scholarship. Deadline: April 17, 2023
