National Technical Honor Society - NTHS
"The National Technical Honor Society currently serves approximately 100,000 active members and nearly a million members since its inception in 1984. Awarding over $1.7 million in scholarships to date, NTHS honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and cultivates excellence in today’s highly competitive, skilled workforce. For over 30 years, NTHS has been the acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education."
The Holly High School chapter of NTHS is open to any student who is enrolled or completed a Career & Technical Education class. Marketing, Educational Careers, & Construction Trades are the three current offerings at the high school that allow students to take an in depth look at each career field. Students not only learn workplace strategies but apply them in a real world setting.
Members of NTHS demonstrate academic leadership and participate in extracurricular opportunities. These Work Based Learning opportunities include visiting Fortune 500 companies, Universities, and Classrooms to further their learning outside of the classroom.
This elite group of students is recognized with a certificate, membership card, tassel, and honor cords provided at graduation.
